About

The RandA Collection

Four self-catering apartments in Cape Town, owned by two people who live in South Africa and let through Airbnb.

They are not a hotel and they are not a chain. They are four apartments in three parts of the city — Sea Point, the city centre and the Foreshore — bought one at a time, and they are different enough from each other that picking the wrong one is a real risk. That is the reason this site exists: Airbnb is very good at showing you one listing and not good at telling you which of four to take.

The apartments are managed by Edgehill, who look after cleaning, linen and check-in. The Airbnb host you will message is Lance, a Superhost of twelve years.

How this site works

It does not take bookings. Every button here opens the relevant Airbnb listing, and the booking, the payment, the messages and the cancellation policy all happen there. There is no form on this site, no email capture and no account to create — nothing about you is collected or stored.

What the site does instead is say which apartment suits which trip, and say it plainly. Every apartment page carries a “not good for” list as long as the good one, because we would rather you booked the right apartment than any apartment. A bad review costs more than a lost booking.

Where the facts come from

Ratings, amenities and review counts on this site were read from the four live Airbnb listings on 30 August 2026 and are stamped with that date wherever they appear. Distances were measured the same day — straight line with a street estimate, not routed walking times, and every page that quotes one says so. Sizes appear only for the apartments whose size the owners have confirmed.

Where something is not known, the site says it is not known rather than estimating it.
