Four apartments that look the same, and are not
On Airbnb all four read “1 bedroom · 1 bathroom · 2 guests”, and that is where the resemblance stops. One is a six-minute walk from the convention centre. One has a parking bay. Two have a washer and dryer in the apartment and two do not. Two have no air conditioning at all.

Which one, by why you are coming
Five situations that cover almost everyone who books with us. Each names one apartment, because a recommendation that hedges is not a recommendation.
You are at a conference at the CTICC
It is about 430 metres from CTICC 1 — a 6 to 8 minute walk. The others are 1.15 km, 1.70 km and 3.30 km. Over four days that difference is the whole stay.
You are arriving by car
It is the only one of the four with its own parking bay, on the premises and included rather than charged nightly. Anyone who has tried to park in the Cape Town CBD will recognise this as the hard part. Mind the 2 metre height limit at the garage entrance.
You are on holiday, or staying on after the conference
Top floor in Sea Point, a furnished private balcony looking at Lion’s Head, a shared rooftop pool, and the Promenade — three kilometres of it — a couple of minutes from the door.
You are paying your own way
The smallest and most keenly priced of the four, and still on the penthouse floor with a residents’ rooftop deck above it. It has no air conditioning, which is the trade you are making.
You are staying for a month
220 Loop and The Carrington are the long-stay pair — both have a washer and a dryer in the apartment, which nothing else here does. 220 Loop takes it on air conditioning and the parking bay; take The Carrington if neither matters to you.
